Why charter in Alor and Sumbawa
Sumbawa lies west of Komodo, on the way from Bali. Alor lies east, past the end of Flores. Both add days of quiet sailing to a Komodo charter and see a fraction of the boats.
Sumbawa has Moyo island's waterfalls, the crater lake on Satonda and whale sharks around the fishing platforms of Saleh Bay. Alor has cold, clear water, steep reef walls and traditional villages in the hills.
