What a private yacht charter includes
Crew, meals, fuel and toys are usually in. Park fees, alcohol and flights usually are not. The details.
A private charter means the whole boat is yours: the cabins, the crew and the route. Rates are quoted per night for the whole yacht, not per person, and what they cover varies by operator. Here is what to expect.
Usually included
The crew, all meals cooked on board, soft drinks, coffee and tea, fuel for the standard route, the tender, and snorkelling gear. Many boats also include kayaks and paddleboards, and some include a cruise director or dive guide.
Usually extra
National park and marine park fees, charged per guest. Wine and spirits. Scuba diving on boats without their own dive programme. Flights, and on some boats airport transfers. Crew gratuities, which are customary.
