Price scales with length, cabin count, age and finish, not with any fixed formula. A small phinisi with three cabins for six guests, such as Kayra or Mahodaya, sits at the lower end of that range. A large expedition vessel like Aqua Blu, built for 30 guests across 15 cabins, sits at the top. Between them are dozens of mid-size phinisi in the $5,000 to $12,000 band that suit most groups of eight to 14 guests. Because rates are quoted per boat rather than per person, dividing by your actual guest count is the only fair way to compare a yacht against a hotel or resort.
Two boats of similar length and guest capacity can also sit at quite different price points once you factor in age, refit history and finish. What the nightly rate includes

What is billed separately

National park and marine park fees are charged per guest and vary by park and length of stay; we never quote a specific figure here because these change, but your quote will list the current fee as a separate line. The same goes for premium alcohol, diving on boats without their own programme, and flights, which you book yourself.
Bali flights are a separate line item
Because the Komodo fleet departs from Labuan Bajo rather than Bali itself, your domestic flight from Bali is booked and paid separately from the charter.
